About the SBDA

Our Mission

The mission of the Sandyford Business District Association is to maintain, develop and promote the Sandyford Business District as a national and international centre of excellence in which to start, sustain and grow your business.

The District

The Sandyford Business District (SBD) represents and comprises the four business parks in the area:

  • Central Park
  • Sandyford Business Park
  • South County Business Park
  • Stillorgan Business Park

Our Association

The Sandyford Business District Association (SBDA) is an effective, not for profit, pro-business lobby group in the Sandyford Business District. The association, which has evolved since the 1980s, has over 120 member firms with approximately 3,000 employees, and is represented by a committee of 15 locally based business people who contribute voluntarily to the association. Meeting regularly, the committee campaign among other things for improved investment, roads, access, infrastructure and maintenance for Sandyford to ensure it maintains its prime reputation as a successful place to work, live and do business. The SBDA mission is to help develop and promote the Sandyford Business District as a national and international centre of excellence in which to start, maintain and grow business in Ireland and to maintain a strong voice for those doing business, working and living in the Sandyford Area.

The SBDA has worked in partnership with Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Local and National Representatives and An Garda Siochana to achieve their goals. In particular, the SBDA maintains a constructive and valuable working relationship with the County Council and holds regular meetings with a Senior Executive Liaison Officer covering all current matters.
